Everyone has his/her own idea of what makes a favorite here on DeviantART. I decide my favorites from a few criteria. 1. Unique touch. Something no one else has thought of, a touch of blended color, a thoughtful look, a touch of magic. 2. Subject matter. I'm a huge fan of dragons, animals, fantasy landscapes, and fun. 3. Touch of love. When the subject is treated with a respectful, fun, caring, and loving hand, it shows.

Not saying that others won't get into my favorites. Just saying why most of my favorites were chosen.
